Terms & Conditions.
By booking or attending any Breakout School event (IIT Delhi, Mumbai, online) you agree to these terms. Please read carefully — especially the No Refund clause.
No Refund Policy — Refund Nahi Hoga
All ticket sales are final and non-refundable. Once payment is completed (₹1199 for IIT Delhi, ₹999 for Mumbai or any other price shown at checkout), no refund, no cancellation, no credit, no transfer will be provided for any reason — including change of plans, travel issues, absence, or late arrival.
Hindi: Ticket kharidne ke baad refund nahi hoga — kisi bhi kaaran se. Soch-samajh kar booking karein. Agar aap event miss karte hain to bhi paisa wapas nahi hoga.
- No refund on attendee cancellation / no-show.
- Tickets are non-transferable without prior written approval from hello@thebreakoutschool.com.
- If Breakout School itself cancels/reschedules the event, we may (at our sole discretion) offer a rescheduled date or a refund — that is the only exception.
- UPI / Razorpay charges are also non-refundable.
1. Acceptance & Eligibility
You must be 16+ to book. By paying you confirm details entered (name, email, phone, UPI/Razorpay) are correct. Breakout School may require selection/curation — payment alone does not guarantee pitch slot or entry if you violate conduct rules or venue requirements.
2. Tickets, Pricing & Payments
- Prices displayed at checkout are final (e.g. IIT Delhi ₹1199, Mumbai ₹999). Price may change for future batches without notice.
- Payments are collected via our Razorpay live account only (rzp_live_TDtvePMOWUG42n) and via UPI QR. No third-party payment links are used for IIT Delhi.
- Your seat is confirmed only after successful payment verification and email confirmation. Screenshot/UTR alone is not confirmation until we verify.
- 80 seats (IIT Delhi) / 8 seats (Mumbai) — first-paid, first-confirmed basis subject to curation where stated.
3. Event Access & Conduct
- Valid government ID may be required at venue. IIT Delhi requires campus entry compliance.
- We may refuse entry or remove anyone for misconduct, harassment, or disruption — no refund in such cases.
- No recording of pitch sessions without organizer permission. Photos/videos taken by us may be used for marketing.
- Schedule, speakers, investors and venue details may change — we will notify confirmed attendees over email/WhatsApp.
4. Intellectual Property & Content
All Breakout School branding, posters (including finall.png), decks and recordings remain our property. Attendee pitches remain their own IP — by pitching you grant us permission to share feedback summaries, not your deck, unless you allow it.
5. Limitation of Liability
Events are provided “as is”. We are not liable for indirect losses, travel/accommodation costs, or funding outcomes. Maximum liability, if any, is limited to the ticket price you paid. Networking and investor introductions are opportunities, not guarantees of funding.
6. Privacy
We collect name, email, phone and payment references to manage bookings and send updates. We do not sell your data. Emails are sent from hello@thebreakoutschool.com (Resend). For deletion requests, email us.
7. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms. Continued booking after changes means acceptance. Material changes will be notified on this page with updated date.
